Georges Bazongo

Georges Bazongo has extensive experience in the field of sustainable agriculture and programme management in West Africa. Currently serving as Director of Programmes at Tree Aid, Georges is responsible for overseeing all of Tree Aid's programmes in the region. Prior to their current role, Georges held the position of Deputy Sustainable Agriculture Advisor at Self Help Africa, where Georges supported the improvement of programme quality and implementation. With a strong educational background in environmental economics and agronomy, Georges has a passion for empowering communities in the dry lands of Africa through sustainable practices.
