David Murphy

David Murphy is the lead mobile engineer at TreeCard. David has over seven years of experience as a software engineer. David has worked at various companies, including Zopa, Qudini Ltd, Velocity Mobile Ltd, Student.com, and Top10.com.

Murphy has been with TreeCard for two years. Prior to that, they were a senior software engineer at Zopa for two and a half years. At Zopa, they worked with the engagement tribe to launch new customer-facing features centered around self-service, loan reservation, borrowing power, and onboarding. David also drove the adoption of TypeScript throughout the mobile application and across the wider company. In addition, they successfully integrated A/B testing and helped optimize a number of user journeys throughout the application.

Before joining Zopa, Murphy was a senior software engineer at Qudini Ltd for nine months and at Velocity Mobile Ltd for one year and four months. David started their career as a software engineer at Student.com in November 2015 and then moved to Top10.com in November 2014, where they worked for one year.

David Murphy studied computer science at University College Dublin, where they specialized in software programming and mathematics.
