Robert Godfrey has a diverse range of work experience in various fields related to sustainability, environmental technology, and climate change. Robert is the Co-Founder of Treeconomy, a company focused on valuing and protecting natural capital to combat climate change. Previously, they worked as a Sustainability Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. Robert also completed a Master's degree in Environmental Technology with a specialization in Business & the Environment at Imperial College London, where they focused on climate change mitigation and adaptation. During their time there, they conducted a thesis on greenhouse gas removals resulting from Land Use, Land-Use Change, and Forestry in England and Wales. Additionally, Robert worked as a Graduate Consultant at KKS Advisors, where they conducted research and provided strategic guidance on embedding long-term thinking in US capital markets. Prior to that, they worked as a Team Lead - Project Management and a Project Coordinator at Lumenix, a leading LED lighting retrofit company in Canada. Robert also gained experience as a Board Secretary & Research Intern at Geographers Without Borders and as a Researcher at the University of Toronto's Centre for Global Change Science. Robert's work experience is further complemented by their role as a Research Assistant at Imagine Canada and their experience as a Camp Counsellor and Head of Bushcraft at Camp Ponacka.

Robert Godfrey completed their education in the following chronological order:

1. Northern Secondary School (2007-2011): Robert obtained their Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Northern Secondary School.

2. McMaster University (2011-2015): Robert pursued their Bachelor of Arts and Science degree with a specialization in Biology, General at McMaster University.

3. University of Washington (2014): Robert briefly attended the University of Washington to study Environmental Science and Resource Management, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution.

4. Imperial College London (2018-2019): Robert successfully completed a Master of Science degree with distinction in Environmental Technology and Business and the Environment from Imperial College London.
