Daniel Castro

Daniel Castro has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Daniel is currently serving as the Chief Business Officer at TreeFrog Therapeutics since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Avectas from January 2021 to February 2023. Before entering the biotechnology industry, Castro worked at Mass General Brigham, a non-profit hospital system based in Boston, as the Managing Director of Licensing for over 15 years, from 2006 to 2021. Daniel also held roles at Agenus as the Lead of Program and Portfolio Management from 2004 to 2006, at Sanofi as the Manager of Portfolio Management from 2001 to 2004, and at Onyx Pharmaceuticals as a Research Associate II from 1997 to 1999.

Daniel Castro earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis, where they attended from 1993 to 1997. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance at the Boston College Carroll School of Management from 1999 to 2001.
