Mike Slade is a partner and co-founder of Second Avenue Partners, a private equity firm focused on early-stage deals in Seattle, which they established in 1999. Throughout their career, Mike has held key positions, including Chairman and CEO of Starwave Corp, where they led the company to significant internet prominence before its sale to Disney for over $1 billion. As a board member for various organizations, including the Professional Bowlers Association and RealNetworks, Mike has been instrumental in strategic consulting and product strategy, notably advising at Apple under Steve Jobs. They completed a degree in Economics from Colorado College and an MBA from Stanford University.
