Laura Carter is the CEO and Founder of TreesPlease Games, a studio making games that protect nature and fight climate change. They previously served as GM of CSR2’s 3rd party development and, as Product Owner and Product Lead on CSR2, owned product strategy and roadmap. Earlier in their career, they held leadership roles at Square Enix (Head of Production - Mobile from 2015 to 2017 and Senior Producer - Mobile for Lara Croft Relic Run), The Walt Disney Company (Lead Producer for Disney Junior Play, 2012 to 2014), ustwo (Producer, 2011 to 2012), PlayStation (Associate Producer, 2009 to 2011; Assistant Producer), Virgin Radio International Limited (Account Executive, 2005 to 2007), and OUTFRONT Media (Coordinator, 2003 to 2005). Through TreesPlease Games' first game Longleaf Valley, they and their players planted over 1.5 million trees.
