Mason Pitz

Mason Pitz is currently a Product Manager at Treez. Prior to that, they worked as a Technology Project Manager at Berkeley Leadership Network from December 2018 to May 2020. There, they managed a cross-functional team of engineers, quantitative analysts, and researchers through the product development lifecycle for a B2B SaaS startup in the property management space. They also conducted user interviews and prepared competitive analysis; identified need for a value-add service to increase revenue per unit and customer retention rate. In addition, they communicated product recommendations and roadmap to stakeholders to expedite go-to-market strategy. Furthermore, they led internal research team creating data-driven industry market research reports with emerging start-ups.

Before working at Berkeley Leadership Network, Mason Pitz worked as an Event Assistant at Cal Alumni Association | UC Berkeley from January 2018 to May 2020. There, they were responsible for setting up and cleaning up after events held at the Cal Alumni House, as well as working security during events. They also helped guests with any extra accommodations or information they may need. Additionally, they managed store inventory, finances, and crew at Lair of the Bear - a summer camp for Cal Alumni. Lastly, they provided customer service to campers in scheduling programs, massages, and gourmet dinners to provide the best experience possible.
