Melissa Shrive

Melissa Shrive, Senior Corporate Counsel and Deputy Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer with Treliant, is skilled in contract review and negotiation. She has experience in the areas of legal compliance, mediations, legal research, and investigations.

Prior to joining Treliant, Melissa was a staff attorney for a public Fortune 500 manufacturer and supplier. She supported the legal department in handling its substantial contract load, including contract drafting, reviews, negotiations, and disputes. Additionally, she represented the company in mediating claim disputes and resolutions. She also assisted with managing the insider trading database and with preparing and reviewing Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) filings.

Melissa received her JD from Texas Tech University, where she was a member of the Board of Barristers, a participant in the Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic, and an extern with a large architecture and construction company. She also has a BA in Public Relations with a minor in Business from Texas Tech University. She is a member of the Texas Bar.
