Daniel Demetri

Daniel Demetri has a diverse work experience. Daniel is the Founder & CEO of Trellis since January 2019. Trellis focuses on providing technology and services to help consumers maximize their value from personal insurance and other financial services.

Prior to Trellis, Daniel was the Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer at Doma (previously known as States Title) from March 2017 to January 2019. At Doma, they led product, engineering, and various aspects of business development and operations in order to transform the real estate transaction process using predictive analytics and machine learning.

Before their role at Doma, Daniel worked at Earnest Inc. from August 2014 to February 2017 as the Product Lead / Head of Product Management. During their time at Earnest Inc., they played a key role in lowering the cost of student loans and making them more flexible, leading the hyper-growth of the online lender.

Daniel also gained experience at Google, where they held two different roles. Daniel was a Product Manager from an unspecified start date in 2012 to an unspecified end date in 2014, leading the improvement of Google Maps and supporting its redesign and rebuild.
