Bill Thorn is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Sr. Strategist/Architect at Trellix, Bill guides the development of advanced security strategies to enhance resilience against cyber threats. As President of Thorn Security & Privacy, Inc., Bill provides CISO advisory services and strategic planning. Previous roles include Senior Architect at McAfee Enterprise and Information Security Officer/Architect for the State of New Jersey, where Bill significantly improved cybersecurity frameworks. A long history in cybersecurity leadership also includes serving as Senior Director of Information Security at Apollo Group and as President of Thorn & Associates, specializing in forensic investigations. Bill holds a variety of advanced degrees and certifications in cybersecurity and business management.
