Ed Carter

Ed Carter is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sales and leadership roles within the cybersecurity and technology sectors. Currently serving as SVP of Americas Sales at Trellix since May 2025, Ed has previously held pivotal positions such as Advisor to the CEO at Deep Instinct and Chief Revenue Officer at both Zimperium and Zerto, where expertise in mobile security and IT resilience was honed. Other notable roles include SVP of Field Operations at Sprinklr and Senior Vice President of Americas Sales at VCE, contributing to significant growth and market leadership in their respective fields. Ed’s career began with leadership positions at IBM and Cybrant Corporation, following a distinguished tenure as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force. Ed holds an MBA in Finance from California State University, Long Beach, and a B.S. in Management from the United States Air Force Academy.
