Haowei Ren is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in global security response. Currently serving as the Director of Global Security Response at Trellix since January 2022, Haowei Ren previously held several key positions at FireEye, Inc. from June 2013 to January 2022, including Director of Global Security Response, Sr. Manager of Security Research & Operations, Manager of Security Research & Operations, and Senior Researcher. Prior to this, Haowei Ren worked as a Research Scientist at McAfee from October 2006 to June 2013 and as a Researcher at Fortinet from May 2005 to October 2006. Haowei Ren holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Fudan University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tianjin University.
