Ryan Slaney is a seasoned cyber security investigator and analyst who currently serves as a Staff Threat Intelligence Analyst at Trellix. Previously, they held positions as a Senior Security Intelligence Analyst at Field Effect and a Senior Cyber Intelligence Officer at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, where they earned multiple accolades for their contributions to national security. With hands-on expertise in malware analysis and threat hunting, Ryan has presented at numerous cyber security conferences and has been recognized in media outlets. They earned a Bachelor of Commerce in 2005 and an MBA in 2008 from Saint Mary's University.
