Sameer Syed

Sameer Syed is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in accounting and tax operations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President - Global Controller & Tax at Trellix since October 2021, Sameer oversees financial reporting, compliance, and decision support processes. Prior roles include Vice President Taxes at Sabre Corporation and various senior director positions focusing on treasury, tax planning, and compliance. Sameer has also held director-level positions at ITW and TMK IPSCO, along with managerial roles at Deloitte Tax LLP and Arthur Andersen. Sameer holds multiple degrees from Northern Illinois University and DePaul University, including a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Master of Science in Taxation.
