Sarah Cox

Sarah Cox is a Principal Instructor at Trellix since January 2022, where responsibilities include training administrators, analysts, incident responders, and threat hunters on Trellix products. Simultaneously, Sarah serves as a Part-Time Instructor for the Merritt College Cybersecurity Program, teaching a course on cybersecurity fundamentals. Prior to Trellix, Sarah held roles at FireEye, including Principal Instructor and Curriculum Developer, where co-development of courses related to cybersecurity occurred. With a background in instructional design and program development, Sarah has experience as a Producer at LeapFrog, where an eLearning program was created to enhance training efficiency. Additional roles include Training Specialist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Part-time Instructor at City College San Francisco, along with positions in technology coordination and program management in educational settings. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on Instructional Technology from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Boston College.
