Sumit Lohani is an experienced security research manager specializing in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) with a career spanning over 18 years. Currently serving as Manager of Security Research at Trellix since February 2022, Sumit oversees research initiatives in EDR. Prior to Trellix, Sumit worked at McAfee from July 2008 to March 2022, holding various roles including Manager of Security Research and Security Researcher, contributing to the Advanced Threat Defense Product and focusing on detection testing and Yara rule writing.
