Trellus
Eric Lindstrom has extensive experience in operational leadership and program management within the behavioral health and employment sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Trellus since April 2018, Eric provides strategic direction and oversees various programs, including community health and workforce development. Prior to this role, Eric held key positions at Impact Behavioral Health Partners, coordinating the Supported Employment program and ensuring effective program delivery. Earlier experience includes coordinating supported employment initiatives at New Foundation Center, providing consultative services at Iroquois Mental Health Agency, and managing operational activities at World Title Guaranty, Inc. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Chicago State University, obtained between 2007 and 2010.

Trellus is a nonprofit that exists to empower immigrants, refugees, and underserved communities in Chicago to thrive by removing barriers and providing supports that create opportunities for life. Headquartered in West Ridge—one of Chicago’s major refugee settlement neighborhoods—we serve individuals and families representing more than 50 nations and ethnicities. Our culturally responsive, comprehensive services include trauma-informed behavioral health counseling, case management, health education, ESL and technology classes, career training and job placement, and other supportive services. We also operate Passages Charter School, a pre-K to 8 charter school in the Andersonville neighborhood keenly focused on the needs and experience of refugee families.
