John Chen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property, product compliance, and privacy law. Currently serving as Vice President of Legal at Trend Micro since 2005, John focuses on integrating legal perspectives into the company's strategies and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory issues. Prior to Trend Micro, John held various roles including Intellectual Property Counsel at Integrated Device Technology and SonicBlue, and Director of Intellectual Property at New Focus. John’s legal expertise is supported by a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
