Mina Naiim

Mina Naiim is a Senior Threat Research Engineer at Trend Micro, specializing in malware analysis, threat hunting, and the development of AI-driven detection tools. With previous experience as a Research Assistant in software defined radio platform development at Alexandria University and in optical communication at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, Mina has an extensive background in cybersecurity. Internships at Telecom Egypt, Coca-Cola Egypt, Huawei Technologies, and Trend Micro have provided a foundation in threat research techniques and networking basics. As a Malware Researcher, Mina has reverse-engineered over 200 malware samples annually and contributed to the design of technical courseware packages. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in communication and electronics from the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University, awarded with honors.
