Trevor Rees

Trevor Rees is a seasoned professional in the field of threat research and business development, currently serving as Senior Director of Threat Research at Trend Micro since January 2018. Prior to this role, Trevor held various leadership positions at TELUS Security Labs, including General Manager and Director of Sales from October 2010 to December 2017, and earlier as Director of Sales and Director of Business Development and Marketing. Trevor began a career at Assurent Secure Technologies as Business Development and Marketing Manager from July 2005 until April 2009. Trevor holds a PhD in International Development from The University of Manchester, an MSc in Development Economics and International Development from Swansea University, a BA (Double - Hons.) in Geography and Anthropology from Western University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College, complemented by a High School Diploma from Mercersburg Academy.
