Nicolaj Foldager has work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. In 2008, they worked as a teacher at Onsild Idrætsefterskole until July 2012. During this time, they also served as a substitute teacher from August 2008 to July 2010. From August 2010 to July 2011, Nicolaj worked as a teacher at the same establishment. In June 2016, they joined Trendhim as a Financial Manager and later became the CFO in June 2019.
Nicolaj Foldager completed their education in chronological order as follows. Nicolaj obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Social Sciences (Samfundsfag og erhvervsøkonomi) from Aarhus University, from the period of 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Social Sciences (Samfundsfag og erhvervsøkonomi) from the same university, from 2012 to 2015. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they also attended University College Nordjylland in 2011-2012 for a course titled "Enkeltfag på lærerseminariet".
