John Roberts

John Roberts is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in subsea flowline connection systems and product development. At Trendsetter Engineering, Inc., John served as Project Engineer and Lead Project Engineer for the Woodside Trion Connection Systems project, managing high-value subsea flowline connector projects. Previously, John contributed as Lead Design Engineer for the development of an industry-first subsea hot tapping tool and supervised engineering teams for flowline connections. Prior engagements include roles at EAB Engineering AS and OneSubsea, where John was recognized by ExxonMobil for project excellence and led the design of a new subsea connection system. John's career commenced with internships at OneSubsea and Cameron, where foundational skills in design and engineering processes were developed. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
