Jari Toivanen has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Jari started their career at Nokia in 1993, initially working as a Chief Design Engineer before moving on to become a R&D Project Manager for Nokia Communicators. In this role, they oversaw the development of innovative technologies and was responsible for the entire product lifecycle from conception to market release and updates.
Jari later took on roles such as Director of Technology, Enterprise Solutions at Nokia and Director of Concepting, leading the development of various Nokia product lines such as E-Series devices and Lumia products. Jari was involved in product design freeze decisions as well as developing close partnerships with vendors and guiding Nokia's technology selection process.
In 2014, Jari joined Microsoft as a Principal Development Lead before eventually taking on the roles of CEO and Chief Engineer at Treon, a company they joined in 2016. Throughout their career, Jari has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of product development, technology selection, and project management.
