Scott Barrie

Scott Barrie is an accomplished financial services executive with extensive experience in the commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and real estate markets. Currently serving as Managing Director at Trepp, Inc. since March 2011, Scott has played a significant role in providing analytics and technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency in finance. Scott also leads the Trepp Multicultural Employee Resource Group, promoting diversity and inclusion within the company. Prior to Trepp, Scott co-founded Investcap Advisors LLC, specializing in CMBS surveillance, and held various leadership positions in institutions such as Interbay Funding, Bayview Financial, and Institutional Mortgage Acquisition Corp., among others. Scott's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and further studies in Management and Administration at Harvard University.
