Ryan Yang

Ryan Yang has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Ryan is currently working as a Tech Lead and Staff Software Engineer at Segments by Tresl. In this role, they have led multiple projects, including developing new features and designing/implementing a new data stack. Ryan has also integrated AI features and LLM models with LangChain.

Prior to that, Ryan worked at Hyve Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on backend, machine learning, data, and DevOps. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Vpon Big Data Group, where they designed and developed performant and scalable backend microservices. Ryan also worked on real-time bidding flow, integration with SSPs, and data migration.

Earlier in their career, Ryan worked at 異智通訊股份有限公司 as a Software Engineer, where they developed and maintained network protocol modules and led integration projects. Ryan also collaborated with the ODM Team and acted as a bridge in the cloud team.

Throughout their career, Ryan has gained experience in Python, Go, Java, Scala, Akka framework, MySQL, AWS Redshift, C, Linux scripting, and various DevOps tools.

Ryan Yang completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University from 2006 to 2010. Ryan then pursued a Master's degree in Communication Engineering at the same institution from 2010 to 2012. In September 2019, they obtained a certification in "How Google does Machine Learning" from Coursera.
