TRESS ACADEMIC provides professional development for researchers, supervisors, and academic institutions.

We help academics strengthen the skills that are essential for successful research careers but rarely taught systematically: academic writing and publishing, PhD supervision, researcher development, research communication, collaboration, and academic leadership.

Our work supports individual researchers as well as universities, graduate schools, doctoral programmes, and research institutes that want to build stronger academic development structures.

Since 2007, we have worked with 80+ universities and research institutes worldwide, delivered 725+ courses and workshops, and supported more than 9,300 academics from 55+ nationalities.

We offer online programmes, live courses, workshops, writing retreats, supervision training, and advisory support. Our approach combines practical frameworks, realistic academic experience, and structured guidance.

We also publish the Smart Academics Blog, with practical articles and resources on academic writing, publishing, PhD progress, supervision, and researcher development.

Our aim is to help researchers and institutions create more clarity, stronger working structures, and meaningful progress in complex academic environments.
