Michael Breen is driven by the growth and evolution of organizations that have an impact on the Utility industry. He has thirty years of working with emerging energy technology companies providing the leadership, strategy, and finance required to influence the way utilities adapt to technology. He joined Treverity in 2016 to help accelerate the transition from a handful of key customers to its position as a major Utility goto vendor.
Breen has extraordinary experience with emerging technologies related to Energy Storage and its impact on the Electric Utility Industries. In addition to running and founding high profile companies in the space, such as Xtreme Power and Geli, he has also served as a subject matter expert to several large industrials as the Energy Storage industry developed, including Shell, Phillips 66, First Wind, Sun Edison, AES, SunPower, and Siemens. From 2015-to 2016 he was the global SME for energy storage at Siemens and incubated what would be the largest M&A transaction in the industry.
Michael Breen holds a B.S. in Engineering from The University of Notre Dame and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to Xtreme Power, he spent 10 years in middle-market Investment Banking.
