Robin S.

Robin S. has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. They started their career at BAE Systems Information Technology in 2004 as a Program Control Associate, where they monitored and tracked labor charging and funding on government contracts. They also handled cash receipts, prepared sales and use tax forms, and supervised a staff of one. From 2007 to 2009, Robin was an Accounting/Project Setup Supervisor at the same company, focusing on reviewing labor charging, preparing monthly journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.

In 2009, Robin joined L-3 Communications as an Assistant Controller, managing financial systems and processes. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Financial Systems Manager, overseeing the company's financial systems. During this time, they gained experience in financial forecasting, reporting cash flow, and managing accounting teams. Robin worked at L-3 Communications until 2015.

After leaving L-3 Communications, Robin joined United Dairy Farmers as a Finance Manager, responsible for financial management in various areas, including manufacturing, wholesale, transit, and warehouse operations. They stayed with this company until 2018.

In 2018, Robin joined Sunny Delight Beverages Co. as an Assistant Controller - Corporate Accounting, contributing to corporate accounting activities. They were responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. They worked at Sunny Delight Beverages Co. until 2020.

From 2020 to 2021, Robin held the position of Controller at Sparton, where they were responsible for overseeing financial activities and maintaining accurate financial records.

Currently, Robin is working as an Assistant Controller at TREW.

Robin S. has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Accounting, from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business. They also hold a Master's Degree in Accounting and Information Technology from the University of Maryland University College. In 2017-2018, Robin completed the Professional Program: Data Science Orientation at Microsoft, with a focus on Data Science. Additionally, Robin has obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy and as an IBM TM1 – Certified Specialist (Cognos TM1 Data Analysis) from IBM.
