Simon Flowerday

Simon Flowerday has a strong background in finance and accounting with significant experience in various leadership roles. Simon is currently working at The Restaurant Group plc, where they serve as the Group Finance Director since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Group Financial Controller at the same company from July 2022 to January 2023. Before joining The Restaurant Group plc, they worked at McColl's Retail Group as the Group Financial Controller from June 2017 to July 2022. Simon also has experience in Gilbarco Veeder Root, where they served as the EMEA Financial Accounting Director from November 2013 to June 2017, UK Finance Director from June 2011 to October 2013, and UK Financial Controller from April 2010 to June 2011. Simon started their career at Findel Education Ltd as the Financial Controller from March 2005 to March 2010, and at GLS Educational Supplies Ltd as the Financial Controller from March 2002 to November 2004, and as a Management Accountant from January 2001 to February 2002.

Simon Flowerday completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Portsmouth in the years 1992-1996. Prior to that, they attended Enfield Grammar School from 1985-1992.
