Ella Ullrich

Ella Ullrich is a third-year Microbial Biology student at the University of California, Berkeley, concentrating on host-pathogen interactions. Ella has served as a Field Technician at both Aspen Environmental Group and California State University Channel Islands, participating in environmental compliance monitoring and restoration projects. Currently, Ella works as a Student Laboratory Assistant at the Molecular Foundry, studying interactions between E. Coli and bacteriophage, and as a Laboratory Assistant at the UC Berkeley Electron Microscope Laboratory, where they are trained in advanced imaging techniques. Ella plans to pursue graduate studies in biology with the goal of working in drug development within the biotechnology sector to positively impact global health.
