Lixin Lu is the CEO and Founder of TriagingX, a previous staff scientist at LynuxWorks, and the former CTO and VP of Business Development at validEDGE.

Lu began their career as a staff scientist at LynuxWorks in February 2009. As one of the key players in the LSK team, Lu's first responsibility was to identify what was required to implement in order to boot Windows XP on a full virtualization platform via Intel VTX/VTD. Lu debugged every step during Windows booting process, including POST, BIOS, HAL, kernel and OS core services initialization process. Lixin successfully supported Windows full virtualization on LSK. Lu also implemented a network tunnel device driver for Windows, emulating network device communication between VMs on LSK.

In August 2009, Lu became the CTO and VP of Business Development at validEDGE. Lixin created sales strategy, built up business partnerships and sale channels, and acquired more than 10 customers. Within 6 months, Lu made more than $600K USD in revenue and created more than $2 million USD in sales pipeline. Lixin also brought in multiple potential buyers for M&A during the exit process, successfully completing all requirements for technical due diligence. This resulted in the Intel (McAfee) acquisition of validEDGE in October 2012.

Lixin Lu received their M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Guelph, their Ph.D. Candidate in Geography & GIS from Peking University, their M.Sc. in Geography from Shaanxi Normal University, and their B.Sc. in Geography from Jiangxi Normal University.
