John Whyte

John Whyte is the Chief Executive Officer of the American Medical Association and currently serves on the board of trustees for Morehouse School of Medicine and the board of directors for the Alliance for Aging Research and the National Environmental Education Foundation. With over 25 years of experience as a board-certified physician and healthcare policy expert, they previously held the position of Chief Medical Officer at WebMD, leading initiatives that enhanced health equity and user engagement. John also has a rich history in various healthcare roles, including Division Director at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Chief Medical Expert at Discovery Channel. They are pursuing an MPH in Health Policy and Management at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, an MD from Hahneman University School of Medicine, and a BA in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
