Jonathan Grimaldi

Jonathan Grimaldi has extensive work experience as a software engineer. Jonathan currently holds a position as a Staff Software Engineer at Tribe Dynamics since October 2021. Prior to this, they were a Site Reliability Engineer at Tribe Dynamics from February 2021 to October 2021.

Before joining Tribe Dynamics, Jonathan worked at Marin Software starting from September 2006 to December 2015. Initially, they served as a Software Engineer and played a key role in building a Java, MySQL SaaS application from inception to generating over $30 million in recurring revenue by 2011. Jonathan then transitioned to operations/technical support, where they contributed to the establishment of global technical support teams and provided technical leadership in areas such as Linux, MySQL, Java, and Python support applications.

Prior to Marin Software, Jonathan worked at 2Wire as a Software Engineer from October 2003 to January 2006.

Jonathan'searliest work experience was at Sugar Media, where they joined as the third employee in the fall of 2001. At Sugar Media, Jonathan developed DVR set-top box application/middleware software, primarily using Java and some C++. Jonathan worked at Sugar Media from October 2001 to October 2003.

Jonathan Grimaldi received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from the University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Jonathan then pursued further studies in Physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara from 1996 to 1998, although they did not obtain a specific degree from this institution.
