Teun van Gorp

Teun van Gorp is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in security and engineering. Currently serving as a Werkvoorbereider / Calculator at Waterblock B.V. since October 2018, Teun specializes in the design, implementation, and monitoring of stormwater infiltration systems using the patented Watershell system, alongside promoting sustainable tree growth in urban areas. Teun also brings experience as a (Leidinggevend) Evenementbeveiliger / Horecabeveiliger at Intelligent Security B.V. since September 2014, where extensive communication and observation skills have been developed to manage security in events and hospitality sectors. Teun's academic credentials include a degree in Integrale Veiligheid from Avans University of Applied Sciences and a minor in Integrale Veiligheid from the Politieacademie, complemented by an MBO in Werktuigbouwkunde from ROC - Tilburg. Additionally, Teun conducted research on violence against hospitality security guards and explored safety culture within construction firms for graduate thesis work.
