David Hickson

David Hickson has a wealth of experience in the business and legal world. David began their career in 1996 as an Associate Lecturer in Contract Law/Equity & Trust Law at the College of Law in York. In 1998, they became a Trainee Solicitor at Harbottle & Lewis. In 2000, they moved to lastminute.com as the Legal & Commercial Director. In 2006, they joined mydeco.com as a Founding Team Member and Head of Corporate Development. In 2013, they founded BioScout and also became an Advisor at Stonebridge. In 2015, they joined Founders Factory Ltd as a Founding Team Member and Chief Strategic Development Officer, as well as becoming a Non Executive Director at Simba Sleep. Most recently, they have been a Co-founder and Chief Strategic Officer at Tribesports since 2010.

David Hickson studied Economics at the University of Hull, obtaining a BSc between 1990 and 1993. David then attended the College of Law, York, obtaining a Certificate of Professional Education and Legal Practice Course in law between 1994 and 1996. David also holds a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales certification from The Law Society.
