Thomas Plank

Thomas Plank has a diverse work experience history. Thomas is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Tributech, a European DeepTech-Startup focused on providing trustworthy data notary and sharing technology, utilizing blockchain for data integrity.

Additionally, Thomas has also been involved with the World Economic Forum as an Advanced Manufacturing Platform Contributor, contributing to working groups and reports on data sharing in manufacturing.

Before their current roles, Thomas worked as a Guest Lecturer and Research Associate at FH Oberösterreich – University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. Thomas also served as the Head of Business Development & Strategy and a board member at KREISEL Systems | HOMETEC.

Furthermore, Thomas has experience in project management and asset liability management at various companies including Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich AG, HAINZL Industriesysteme GmbH, and Oberösterreichische Landesbank AG.

Lastly, Thomas has demonstrated their commitment to social causes as the Chairman of the NGO-Board and Project Manager for the social project "Hope for Future" in Nairobi, Kenya.

Thomas Plank started their education at the HTL Neufelden, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from 2003 to 2008. Thomas then went on to HFH Hamburg from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a Dipl.-Wirtsch. Ing. (FH) in Industrial Engineering. In 2013, they attended the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria at Campus Steyr, where they pursued a Master of Arts in Business (MA) with a focus on Controlling, Accounting & Financial Management. At the same time in 2013, they also attended the University of Cambridge and obtained a Business English Certificate B2. In 2015, they completed their Master's degree at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.

Thomas Plank then postponed their education at Dublin City University, where they were pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science. Thomas enrolled in 2016 and ended their studies in 2017.

In terms of additional certifications, Thomas Plank obtained an IELTS Test certification with an Overall Band Score of 8.0 (CEFR Level C1) from the British Council in March 2016. Thomas also earned a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) certification from Austrian Standards in April 2019.
