The Trident Energy generator can be used to co-locate wave and offshore wind energy generation. Co-location increases the amount of electricity generated using the same infrastructure and reduces the overall cost of offshore renewable energy generation. Alternatively, the generator can be integrated into wave and tidal energy converters to provide low cost and highly reliable power take-off.
