Simon Hong

Simon Hong has over 32 years of experience in the fields of video engineering and image processing. Currently serving as the Director of Video Engineering at Trident Microsystems since November 1990, Simon has played a pivotal role in the company's successful transition from graphics to the digital TV business and holds two US patents. Previously, Simon worked for 12 years as an Associate Professor at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, specializing in image processing, automation control, and computer design.
