Thomas Kauter has over two decades of experience in analog design and audio technology. Currently serving as Group Leader of Analog Audio at Trident Microsystems since May 2009, Thomas specializes in high-performance audio converters, switch-mode DC/DC, linear voltage regulators, and power management. Prior experience includes a role as an Analog Design Engineer at Micronas from August 1998 to May 2009, and as an Analog IC Designer at Micronas OY from January 1996 to August 1998, focusing on low voltage and low power solutions in CMOS and BICMOS technologies. Thomas began their career in ASIC design as a student employee at iC-Haus GmbH from April 1992 to October 1994. Thomas holds a Dipl. Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering, Solid State Electronics from Technische Universität Darmstadt, earned between 1988 and 1994.
