Pedro Mosquera

Pedro Mosquera has over twenty-five years of professional experience in the Information Technology field. In 1994, they began their career as a Customer Service and Technical Support at BBVA Banco Provincial. In 1998, they moved to HACER Sistemas as an Information Systems Management Specialist, where they coordinated automation projects and information system implementations for libraries, archives and information centers. In 2000, they were an IT Consultant at the Pedagogical Institute of Caracas/Central, where they advised C-Level staff in decisions making regarding core library system implementations. From 2005 to 2007, they were an Information Technology Technical Analyst and Library Service Specialist at the Houston Public Library, where they provided reference and information research to customer requests and planned and performed outreach activities to promote library services and collections. From 2007 to 2016, they were a Sr. DBA/IT Business Analyst and Business Systems Support Specialist at the Houston Area Library Automated Network (HALAN Consortium), where they managed diverse web applications and coordinated projects of new products implementations and improvements. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Technologist and Founder of Orinoco Web Solutions, where they elicited complex business data analysis to implement business intelligence, data models and data visualization frameworks. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Digital Marketing Coordinator/Data Analyst and Business Systems and Data Analyst at the Heralds of the Gospel Foundation, where they coordinated and executed digital marketing campaigns on various channels and performed ETL from data silos to ingest data to data warehouse and CRM.

Pedro Mosquera received a B.A in Library Sciences with a concentration in Archives from the Universidad Central de Venezuela between 1997 and 2003. In 2012, they obtained a Certified Six Sigma - Green Belt (CSSGB). In December 2022, Pedro received a Google Data Analytics Certificate from Coursera.
