Virtual Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Program Manager at Trideum

Randall Smith has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and responsibilities. Randall currently works at Trideum Corporation as the Virtual Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations Program Manager, where they manage a team of 42 professionals. Previously, they worked at GDIT LTD and CSRA Inc as a Program Manager Operations, overseeing teams of experienced professionals. At CSRA Inc, they also served as a Senior Professional Technical Trainer for the MET/CFFT program.

Prior to their civilian career, Randall served in the US Army, where they held various positions. Randall was a MCOE Joint Fires Instructor & Curriculum Developer, responsible for training and mentoring thousands of employees. Randall also served as a Ground Liaison NCO (GLO) at the 549th Combat Training Squadron, responsible for coordinating air support for combat operations in Afghanistan. Additionally, they were a Counter Improvished Explosives Team Leader and an Observer Controller-Trainer, providing instruction and feedback to leaders at the Joint Multi-national Readiness Center. Earlier in their military career, Randall served as a Fires and Effects Fire Support Sergeant in Korea and as a Senior Drill Sergeant at Fort Sill, OK, where they trained and mentored entry-level soldiers.

Randall Smith has an education history that includes a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Homeland Security Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Randall obtained this degree between 2016 and 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the same institution, a program they completed between 2006 and 2016. In addition to their academic achievements, Randall Smith has also obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in February 2023.
