Gilbert Roman Tarimo

Gilbert Roman Tarimo is a seasoned professional in global trade solutions and agricultural development, currently serving as the Global Trade Solutions & Engagement Manager at Tridge since April 2021, after holding various engagement management roles within the organization. Tarimo's expertise also includes a position as a RuralInvest & Business Cases Analyst at FAO since April 2016, focusing on agricultural investment projects. Previously, Tarimo provided business development services to youth groups through the Pareto Ni Pesa project with Lutheran World Relief and contributed as a Documentation and Experience Capitalization Consultant for the CTA (ACP-EU). As an AgriBusiness Development Services Provider for the Marketing Infrastructure Value Addition and Rural Finance Support Programme, Tarimo worked on initiatives to enhance incomes and food security in Tanzania. Tarimo holds a Master’s degree in International Trade Policy and Law from Lund University and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics and Agribusiness from Chuo Kikuu Cha Sokoine Cha Kilimo.
