Ernesto Monaco is a computational scientist with 20 years of experience, focusing on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and particularly the Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM). They obtained a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Naples University in 2004 and later completed a Ph.D. at Southampton University, where they were the first student to apply LBM to multiphase flows. Following their academic career, Ernesto worked at various institutions, including Clausthal University and FluiDyna GmbH, before joining ESS Steyr as the team lead for large-scale simulations. Currently, they serve as the Principal Developer and Team Leader for the LBM Solver Initiative at Tridiagonal Software Inc.
