Business Development Manager at Tridon Communications

Ryan Warrington has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ryan is currently working as a Business Development Manager at Tridon Communications since September 2020. In this role, Ryan focuses on deploying network infrastructure, security, and big data solutions to enable digital transformation in an industrial setting.

Before joining Tridon Communications, Ryan held the position of Past-President at ISA Calgary Section starting from June 2018.

Prior to that, Ryan worked at ABB from June 2016 to September 2020. Initially, they served as an Account Manager - IAOGC Group, where they focused on sales growth in Canada for digital enterprise applications. Later, Ryan became a Sales Executive, responsible for sales growth in Canada for Digital Enterprise applications based on Industrial DCS and PLC solutions. ABB is a leader in digital industries and Ryan contributed towards their success by leveraging their ABB Ability digital platform.

Previous to ABB, Ryan worked at Eaton Corporation from October 2012 to January 2016 as a Regional Sales Manager - Canada. Ryan was responsible for business development and outside sales for Hazardous Area Communication equipment and systems. Ryan played a pivotal role in establishing the HAC platform and sub-brands as key suppliers for mega projects.

From April 2010 to March 2012, Ryan worked at Spartan Controls as a Technical Sales Specialist. Before that, they served as an Application Engineer from September 2005 to April 2010.

Ryan began their career at Tech Works Engineering Inc. in January 2003 as a Manufacturing Engineering focusing on Automotive Engine Component Design for Racing Applications. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Coordinator & Instructor at Mount Royal College from January 2002 to June 2005, where they taught courses related to engineering design and communication.

Ryan Warrington obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1998. Ryan later pursued their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, completing it in 2003. In May 2005, Ryan also obtained the certification of Professional Engineer from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
