Dr. Weiß Herbert is currently a Senior Program and Project Manager at Tridonic, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this, Dr. Weiß worked as a Senior Project Manager in R&D at OSRAM from 2001 to 2011, where they managed a variety of projects related to lighting technologies. They also held a brief role as a Product Development Engineer at Infineon Technologies in 2001, which was cut short due to a company crisis. Dr. Weiß earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in solid state physics, magna cum laude, from the Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Grenoble, France, after completing a Diplom-Physiker in Technische Physik at Technische Universität München.
