Douglas (Doug) Pelletier has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Douglas (Doug) started their career at IBM in 1981 as a Marketing Representative and worked there until 1988. After leaving IBM, they joined PNM Group as a Client Executive, but faced financial losses and had to start over. In 1990, they joined Carlson Marketing Group as a Client Executive, before establishing their own company, Trifecta Technologies, Inc., in 1991. As the President/CEO of Trifecta Technologies, they were responsible for various aspects of the business, including strategy development, deal making, and team management. In 2008, they founded Trifecta Canada, where they served as the Founder/CEO, focusing on delivering ecommerce solutions and expanding their Salesforce practice in Canada.

Douglas (Doug) Pelletier completed their Honours Secondary School Diploma at Silverthorn Collegiate Institute from 1970 to 1974. Douglas (Doug) then attended the University of Waterloo from 1974 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology/Sports Medicine. In 1978, they pursued further education at Regent College, University of British Columbia, and earned a Diploma of Christian Studies in the fields of Theology, Christian Studies, and Business Ethics. From 1979 to 1981, Doug attended Lehigh University, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
