Mark Davis has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Mark is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Trifoia since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Consultant at Dark Matter Consulting, where they helped clients deliver technology products using modern tools for Cloud and Mobile. Mark also founded and moderated the EugeneTech Switchboard, aiming to be a force for good in the Eugene tech community. Mark also founded ELM Robotics, a company that specializes in creating Things for the Internet. Additionally, they co-founded CodeChops, Eugene's first coworking space, and actively supported downtown revitalization and small businesses in the area. Mark also founded Offworld Events, which organized gala events during the 2020 pandemic and resumed in-person events post-pandemic. Mark worked as a Blazor Consultant at Sogeti and as a Project Development Manager at Capgemini. Mark has also worked at HP, where they were involved in the Developer Program and supported the API portal, fostering open collaboration between internal and external teams.
Mark Davis attended Clover Park Technical College from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Programming and an Associate of Science in Computer Science. Mark also holds additional certifications, including Non-profit board fundamentals from PUGS PDX, Mozilla Open Leader from Mozilla, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft. Mark obtained the Non-profit board fundamentals certification in January 2020, the Mozilla Open Leader certification in November 2018, and the MCPS certification in January 2007.
