Karsten Thygesen

Karsten Thygesen is an experienced technology executive with a robust career spanning several decades. Currently serving as the CTO of Trifork Security since June 2021, Karsten specializes in evaluating technologies and transforming them into commercial solutions. Previously held the position of CTO at Netic A/S, overseeing high-profile projects that prioritized system availability, security, and integrity. As a founder of multiple companies, including KT-Data and SunSITE.dk, Karsten has contributed significantly to the tech community, especially in open-source initiatives and consultancy. An active leader, Karsten also co-founded the NJLUG and has held various technical and administrative roles that demonstrate both deep technical expertise and leadership capabilities. Karsten Thygesen holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Aalborg University.
