Mike Buckland

Mike Buckland is the Director of Production at Triggerfish Animation Studios, having been part of the leadership team since 2006. They produced award-winning animated features such as "Adventures in Zambezia," "Khumba," and "Seal Team," which is currently streaming on Netflix. They also co-produced the Oscar-nominated "Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes" and have worked on various acclaimed projects for BBC and Disney+. Buckland's creative and technical leadership has been pivotal in establishing Triggerfish as Africa's first global animation studio. Prior to this, they held roles as a Graphic Designer, Lead Animator, and Technical Producer at various organizations.
