Claire Matuka is a Machine Learning Engineer at Tiko since July 2023 and serves as the Country Representative for Kenya at the Pan-African Tech Foundation, an organization focused on advancing emerging technologies in Africa through education and partnerships. Previously, Claire worked as a Data Scientist at Asante Financial Services Group and Ada Labs Africa, where contributions included impact-driven tech development. As a Global AI Ambassador for SwissCognitive in 2022, Claire promoted AI advancements on a global scale. Claire co-founded AICE Africa, establishing a center that supports AI education and services across the continent. Claire holds a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at The University of Texas at Austin.
